Philips TVs have integrated Internet access in September

Philips has announced it will provide wireless Internet to its next HD TV and also to the existing technology through its Wireless Media Connect. Philips promises that users can access services such as Skype, email, instant messaging, and also online videos. This feature will be available on the next line EcoTV series 7700 and 5700, and the BDP7520 Blu-ray, while HD TV series 5705 and 7705 will be backward compatible with Wireless Media Connect via a software update.
